Baker ST112E Motor Surge DC Testers
Baker ST112E is also a DC high-potential tester. DC high-potential tests are made by applying dc voltage in steps and recording leakage current (micro-amperes) through the insulation. The DC high-potential test should be used during overhaul to determine cleanliness and moisture content of insulation before or during reconditioning of equipment, since it is less destructive than ac high-potential testing.
