Megger Torkel 950 is capable of measuring battery current via an optional DC clamp probe. Accuracy is enhanced by inputs for separate sensing cables which negate the effects of voltage drop caused by long cables or high current. Megger Torkel 950 to the battery and setting the voltage alarms to the correct level. With the current kept at a constant level, the alarm will sound once voltage drops to just above final voltage. If voltage drop poses a risk of deep discharge, the Torkel will automatically close off the test.
